Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Bitsol Works handles information in connection with IHSS Provider Planner and this website.
1. Overview
Bitsol Works provides IHSS Provider Planner, an independent planning and record-keeping tool for California In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) providers.
2. Information entered into the app
Users may enter information into IHSS Provider Planner, such as:
- recipient names
- authorized hours
- visit dates
- check-in and check-out times
- schedules
- planning records
This information is used within the app to help you organize your own planning and records.
3. Local storage
IHSS Provider Planner is designed to store planner data locally on the user's device.
On supported devices, the Home Screen widget may use a derived on-device snapshot, such as a recipient display name and hour information, to display planner information. This widget data remains on the device and is not transmitted to Bitsol Works servers.
The browser/PWA version and the native app use separate local storage. Planner records do not automatically synchronize between them or between devices.
4. Data collection by Bitsol Works
Bitsol Works does not require users to create an account to use the core planner features.
The current version is not designed to transmit users' planner records to Bitsol Works servers as part of normal planner use.
5. Backups
If users choose to use backup or restore features, they are responsible for where backup files are stored or shared.
Backup and restore are handled locally unless the user chooses to save or share a backup file through another service or location.
6. Website logs
Like most websites, our hosting and network providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser information, and request logs for security, reliability, and delivery.
7. Third-party services
IHSS Provider Planner may be distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple’s privacy practices apply to App Store distribution, downloads, and related Apple services.
This website is hosted and delivered using Cloudflare website hosting and network delivery. Cloudflare may process technical information as described in section 6.
When the web/PWA version of IHSS Provider Planner is used, static application files may be delivered by the hosting provider. This delivery does not upload the user's planner records to Bitsol Works.
8. Children's privacy
IHSS Provider Planner is not directed to children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of IHSS Provider Planner or this website after an update means you should review the revised policy.
